Sunny Sauceda is on stage tearin' it up! OMG----THIS IS ANOTHER REASON TO LOVE THE MUSIC GENRE!! The versatility of talent. They day has been filled with technical difficulties, but I am on now,
and I'm finding it difficult to write down all the things I've seen during the
day to get you caught up--especially with HOUSTON'S POWERHOUSE AVIZO
and all the great acts--Veronica's tribute to Laura Canales ---Megan Leyva, Candice Vargas and Tejano Legends, Sunny, Jimmy Edward, Alfonso Ramos, Joe Bravo, Johnny Hernandez, Rudy Palacios!

Did I mention Cheech Marin is here?

All these guys have music you can listen to online ---Google their websites, or YouTube them---Hopefully you won't experience as many problems as I have had when you log on!

I couldn't sleep last night because I new today would be an awesome experience. It has been like walking in a dream.

All the bands my dad would talk to me are walking around, very accessible---i can just walk up, take a photo and chat.

The music lives in my heart, but normally, I just listen to my dad's old records, and cds that i buy over the Internet or where ever I can find them!

It is not like back in the day when you could just turn on Kick FM or even further back when Simon the Diamond Molina & Super Loop were on the air.

I miss TEJANO RODEO!! I remember going to work at the Downtown Dallas library people would complain about working on Thursday nights---but I loved it! Right after work I head over to Tejano Rodeo to enjoy a beer and the sounds---maybe a dance or two before heading home.

Tejano Music has always played in the sound track of my life---having roots in Corpus Christi, TX, I suppose it was inevitable!
